March 23 event promises to bring slice of Japan to Navarre area
When most people want to experience an authentic experience in another culture, they usually have to get on a plane and fly far away to a foreign destination. For those northwest Floridians looking to explore Japanese culture, you need only hop in your car and drive to St. Sylvester Catholic Church (6464 Gulf Breeze Parkway).
Japanese Food and Culture Day will be held at St. Sylvester Catholic Church (6464 Gulf Breeze Parkway) March 23. It starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. It is being organized by the University of West Florida’s World Languages Program and Japan Language and Culture Community Group.
