Navarre High School senior Kameron Bethell signed a national letter of intent Friday with the University of West Florida men’s soccer team.
Bethell, who helped the Raiders win their first district title since the 2003-04 season this past year, is excited about the opportunity to play at the college level.
“I’m very excited. I’ve known about UWF since I moved here and I’ve always wanted to play there,” Bethell said. “They’ve had a good team over the years and that really attracted my interest.”
Bethell is headed to an Argonauts team that has suffered only two losing seasons in the last 20 years, including a 6-9-2 mark this past year.
