Navarre comes together for third annual Challenge 22

| Hansen Hasenberg
It’s estimated 22 veterans die by suicide every day. To raise awareness of veterans suicide and PTSD, American Legion Post 382 hosts Challenge 22 event. This year marked the third year of the event.

Held at Navarre Park Saturday, Sept. 30, members of Post 382, other Legionnaires and community members came together to support veterans by raising money to Project: VetRelief, which provides resources and services to veterans including emergency assistance and helping veterans collect their benefits.

Challenge 22 event participants walk down Highway 98 to raise awareness of veteran suicide and other issues affecting veteran communities.
