Questions remain around Woodlawn Beach Middle School “gun” incident

On Tues., Sept. 20, parents of children who attend Woodlawn Beach Middle School received calls from the school concerning an incident which had taken place earlier in the day involving a student, a possible fake gun, and several of the students’ peers.
On Sept. 20, an incident occurred at Woodlawn Beach Middle School. A student allegedly brought a weapon to school and had a list of names, but school officials say no such weapon was found. This has still not quieted rumors and questions around the intentions of the student or school transparency.
