Pensacola man swims 20 miles to Navarre Pier for charity

That’s how long Andrew Edwards was in the water during his 20 mile swim from Pensacola Beach Park West to Navarre Beach Fishing Pier.
Andrew Edwards, who now holds the record for longest point to point swim in the Gulf of Mexico, presented a check for over $5,000 to Hotel for Dogs and Cats, a nonprofit he has been raising money for.
