2024 Senior Chill Out collects hundreds of fans and A/C units for elderly

On June 7, the Council on Aging of West Florida’s annual Pete Moore Automotive Team Senior Chill Out received a massive outpouring of community donations, collecting a total of 254 fans, 270 window air conditioner units, and $68,557 to help seniors stay cool this summer.
Mike Freeland and Gary DeStefano of Pete Moore Automotive Team present Council on Aging CEO Josh Newby and Marketing Communications Director Emily Echevarria with a $15,000 check for weatherization efforts for older adults at Senior Chill Out.
