The Navarre High School Lady Raider golf team scored their first victory of the year, with a win over West Florida High Washington, and Escambia High, on Oct. 6. Playing on their home course—Hidden Creek---the Lady Raiders edged runner up West Florida 214-220.

The Navarre High School volleyball team met Choctaw at home on Sept. 26 to play in the 'Fight like a Girl' benefit game for Breast Cancer Awareness. All proceeds from the match went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Laura Gazoo was crowned Homecoming Queen 2011 at halftime of Friday night's Homecoming football game between the Raiders and Catholic High. Last year's Homecoming Queen Kendryx Aldrich did the honors crowning Gazoo and placing the 2011 Homecoming Queen sash around her shoulders. Catholic High won the football game 43-24.
