Each year hundreds of people make their winter home in Florida and are, therefore, dubbed “Snowbirds.” They come in the winter months for many reasons, maybe to escape the cold and snow back home for warmer temperatures, to visit Florida when the beaches aren’t crowded with tourists or to spend some time gazing out over the water as the sun sets on Navarre Beach.
