Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District trades in Land Rover, GMC truck
As of late, it seems the mantra at Navarre Beach Fire Rescue District is ‘out with the old and in with the new.’
During their June 9 meeting, Navarre Beach Board of Fire Commissioners voted to list two of their vehicles as surplus and add a new vehicle to the District’s list of assets.
Junior Lifeguards return with same focus on water safety
With summer underway, Navarre Beach Lifeguards are minding the shoreline and helping ensure the next generation not only knows how to stay safe in and out of the water but also how to help others.
During the month of June, Navarre Beach Lifeguards hosted their annual Junior Lifeguard program, which features beginner and advanced courses. The beginner course lasts for one week and is being held twice this summer.
