It’s not everyday that a 14-year old owns his own business and donates a portion of his profits to mission trips to Belize and Nicaragua.
Elisha Jackson is a Navarre native and entrepreneur with a passion for crafting wooden pens.
It all started when Elisha wanted to help his older brother Elijah raise money for his youth group mission trip to Belize. Elisha donated six pens to auction off in early March to help offset the price of his brother’s trip.
The Community Life United Methodist Church makes the trip every year, but the mission trip planned for this summer unfortunately had to be postponed until next year due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. However, Elisha will be old enough to go with his older brother in 2021.
