What churches in the area are doing to adjust to COVID-19

First Baptist Church of  Navarre is open for normal Sunday services at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 6 p.m. maintaining social distancing and limiting capacity until May 3. All Bible Studies, small groups, and ministries will meet through Zoom video conferencing until May 3. If anyone is feeling sick, had family that is sick or has an underlining medical condition, they are encouraged to stay home and take advantage of the online streaming services. Sunday services are being livestreamed at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at www.FBCNavarre.org.

St. Sylvester Catholic Church has suspended all masses until further notice, in accordance to the instruction from Bishop Wack to all Catholic churches from the Pensacola to Tallahassee area. The church will be open for private individual visitation and prayer on Monday from 9 a.m. to noon and Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. They are video streaming their online masses at www.StSylv.org.

Coastline Calvary Chapel Navarre has suspended in-church services temporarily. However, all services will be streamed for anyone to watch from home until further notice at www.CoastlineNavarre.com. You can also go to their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CoastlineNavarre for daily updates and devotionals.

Navarre First Assembly of God has made the decision not to hold any services or meetings at the church until further notice. The church is utilizing streaming services for anyone who would like to watch from home for Sunday and Wednesday services at www.Navarre1st.com.
Services are being streamed live at normal times, which is Sundays at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. The church office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to drop off tithes and distribute food from the food pantry.

Navarre United Methodist Church has decided to make all their church services online during the COVID-19 pandemic. The best way to stay connected is through their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/NavarreUMC/. They are streaming their Sunday morning service at 9:30 a.m., featuring an online communion.

Midway Baptist in Gulf Breeze will not gather as a congregation for the foreseeable future but will continue to use technology so most of their ministries can resume. Sunday services can be streamed online at www.MidwayBaptist.org. Sunday school classes for adults and youth will meet online via Zoom, a video conference platform. The Senior Adult Bible Study will meet online Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. The youth group will meet in an online chat on Wednesday evenings.

Liberty Church in Gulf Breeze had decided to move their gatherings online and will not gather at any of their locations for the foreseeable future. Streaming online is available at their website www.LibertyChurch.net on Saturdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. There will also be daily devotions and Facebook Lives with the pastors and weekly group bible studies available on each campus’s Facebook page.

Live Oak Church has switched to all online services. Anyone can tune in to the live stream service Sundays at 10:45 a.m. You can stream the Sunday morning service at the church’s YouTube channel which you can find by searching “Live Oak Church Navarre” on YouTube. The staff is also posting daily video devotions on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LiveOakNavarre.

Navarre Church of Christ has suspended their services until further notices. You can check their website www.NavarreChurchOfChrist.net for updates and audio sermons.

Encompass Church Navarre, which normally meets in the cafeteria at West Navarre Primary Church, has transitioned completely to online. Check out their Facebook page for Livestream services Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. and weekly encouraging videos at www.facebook.com/EncompassNavarre.

St Augustine Episcopal Church has suspended all in-church services until Easter Sunday, per Bishop Russell for all the Episcopal churches in the Central Gulf Coast. Stay updated at their website www.staugustines-navarre.org. People can also stream video church services Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and Wednesday at noon on their Facebook page www.facebook.com/staugs.navarre.

Covenant Community Church has switched to all online services. You can stream their Sunday and Wednesday services on their YouTube page by searching for “Covenant Community Church FWB” on Youtube. Check for updates on their website www.NavarreChurch.com.

Billory Baptist Church has suspended all services until further notice. Video sermons are posted weekly on their YouTube page on Wednesdays and Sundays, which you can find by searching “Billory Baptist Church” on YouTube. Their food pantry is still open on Wednesdays from 9 a.m.to 1 p.m. and offers curb-side pickup.

New Life Deliverance Temple Church has transitioned to online services, streaming on their website at www.NLDTC.org. You can also check for updates on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pages/New-Life-Deliverance-Temple-Church/121374427872786.

Light of the World Kingdom Ministries is livestreaming their Sunday morning service every week at 11 a.m. on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/lightoftheworldkingdom. You can also check for updates on their website www.lightoftheworldkingdom.com.

Living Word Evangelistic Association is continuing to have church services on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for those who wish to attend. Streaming is also available for those who wish to remain at home. Streaming is available at their website www.LivingWordNavarre.com. Easter service will be at 10:30 a.m. instead of having a sunrise service.

Navarre Chapel & Academy has suspended their services until further notice and continues to correspond with members individually. Check for updates at www.NavarreChapel.org.


Risen Savior Lutheran Church has suspended in-person worship and bible study until the end of April. Online worship is available Sundays at 10:30 a.m. from home through their website at www.RisenSaviorChurch.org. Daily devotionals are also available on their website blog.

Momentum Church is streaming services online at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sundays at www.momentumchurch.org.
