One of the joys of this job for me is looking at your photos. Every day, I comb our reader’s comments and emails searching for those moments that remind us all why we live in this part of the world.
It’s easy to forget how privileged we are to live near the beach.
How amazing it is to look at the horizon you can never quite reach, to marvel at the great blue herons stalking the shoreline as you wonder what in the world is up with their knees, and to watch a tiny clam uncovered by the surf burrow back down out of sight in a matter of seconds.
