Watch fireworks on the 4th at Windjammers on the Pier

Independence Day is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate our freedom than by drinking an ice-cold cocktail from Windjammers as you watch the fireworks reflect across the Gulf of Mexico?

The downstairs bar called The SandBar is open for the season and serving alcoholic beverages to the beach crowd.

Come grab a frozen piña colada or a daquiri on your way out to Navarre Beach to watch the sky light up red, white and blue.

New TVs have been installed both in the bar upstairs and The SandBar downstairs. Shaded picnic tables wrap around the corner bar downstairs for customers to enjoy the view.

Come celebrate the 4th of July on the beach this year. Watch the sunset and stay for the fireworks show, which starts at 9 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from the end of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier. The pier will close to the public around 7:30 p.m. to prepare for the light show, but the restaurant and bars will remain open for service.

Windjammers provides a relaxing, coastal atmosphere to tourists and locals alike. The spacious, open-air deck seating gives guests the ultimate Gulf-side experience.

Windjammers has a full bar featuring beer, wine and liquor and includes a wide selection of tropical and frozen drinks. The drink menu also features a collection of local craft beers. These beers are brewed locally in Gulf Coast zip codes.

Four fan favorite cocktails are the Red Tide, Dark and Stormy, Old Fashioned and Moscow Mules.
The Red Tide is a triple rum punch that is exclusive to Windjammers, made with coconut rum, light rum and dark rum mixed with orange juice and pineapple juice. Two other cocktails that are exclusive to the Navarre Beach restaurant are their Watermelon Martini and their Black Raspberry Lemonade.

The Dark and Stormy is made with Zaya, a Caribbean dark rum that has been aged 16 years. It’s mixed with ginger beer and lime.

Windjammers serves fresh fish daily specials along with many beach favorites such as fried oysters and shrimp.

Windjammers also has gourmet burgers with Angus, chuck and short rib mix cooked to perfection.
When you are finished eating, don’t forget to check out the pier gift shop, located right next door. It is loaded with customized Navarre apparel and all different kinds of tackle.

The pier opens every day at 5 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m. The restaurant and upstairs bar open at 11 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant and bar are open a little later until 11 p.m.

Windjammers hosts karaoke every Wednesday night from 6 to 9 p.m. and will host live music throughout the week. Stay tuned to the Windjammers Facebook page for updates on specials and upcoming events.
