As for hoops team, Navarre closed the regular season on a 10-game winning streak and sits at 18-7. The second-seeded Raiders now battle the reigning state champion Crestview Bulldogs Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Crestview.

The winner advances to Saturday’s district title game. Top-seeded Tate plays No. 4 seed Niceville or No. 5 seed Pace on Friday in the other semifinal.

Navarre is 10th in the latest regional poll and likely needs to win the district title to earn a spot in the playoffs.
