Sea Turtle Extravaganza

Navarre Fishing Rodeo
The Navarre Chamber Foundation is excited to once again bring to anglers young and old, novice and expert, the Navarre Fishing Rodeo on Oct. 7 and 8. Buy tickets at Half Hitch Navarre, Gulf Breeze Bait and Tackle or Eventbrite. Free walking and fishing on Navarre Pier Rodeo weekend. For more information, visit www.navarrefishingrodeo.com. Take a Kid Fishing will will also be on Oct. 7 at the Navarre Beach Pier from 8 to 11 a.m. First 300 children ages 5-12 receive a free fishing pole, t-shirt and hat. The event includes free bait and fishing instruction.

Milton Food, Wine & Brew Festival
Downtown Milton will be host to Fla. wineries, local craft breweries, top notch food trucks and a mix of fine artists from the region on Saturday Oct. 7 from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $20 for an all-inclusive passport to sample from various connoisseurs and enthusiasts. The festival will be held Oct. 7 and 8, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on the Gabbert Farm, 3604 Pine Level Church Rd. The admission, parking, contests, and entertainment are free. There will be peanuts for sale, crafts, foods, pony and horseback rides, children’s art activities and more.
