Tiny homes could soon sprout in Milton, thanks to action taken by the city council Sept. 8. The lifestyle trend has been growing nationwide, and its broad appeal has become prominent in popular culture.
Council members unanimously voted in approval of universal development code changes and additions that outlined the regulations for tiny home construction.
Some of the major changes include narrowing lot size requirements to 3500 square feet and living space requirements to 300 square feet.
