Owners David and Erin Crumbley opened The Vine Wine Bar, Bistro & Shoppe five months ago and have had a blast pouring themselves, no pun intended, into the community. This Navarre staple continues to serve delicious wine, craft beer and a diverse menu of savory food.
The ambitious new owners hosted a very successful murder mystery party for Halloween. They also love supporting fundraisers for great causes in our area.
“We’re all about giving back to our community,” Erin said.
Some of the organizations the Crumbleys have been involved with are the Starfish Project, Lunch for a Cause benefiting the American Legion Post 382 and the Rotary Club of Navarre. The Vine is a drop off location for the Feeding the Gulf Coast food drive.
They also just hosted a fundraiser where they raised more than $10,000 for Elis Hines, a local 22-year-old who was recently paralyzed. All proceeds went to funding a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
In their free time, the Crumbleys even coach their 11-year-old son’s soccer team at the Navarre Youth Sports Association.
They’re excited for their first holiday season at the bistro, which is across from Publix in the Palm Harbour Plaza.
The Vine is now selling holiday gift baskets if you are looking for the perfect thing to bring to a holiday dinner party. The baskets include two bottles of wine, a wineglass, wine openers, foil cutters, holiday dish towels and other fun fillers. The baskets are selling for $79.
Known for their top of the line wine, the menu at The Vine Wine Bar features flatbreads, salads, crab cakes and even the beef Wellington Bites, which are miniature beef tenderloins wrapped in golden puff pastry, served with a side of house-made horseradish sauce.
One of their bestselling menu items is the Grand Adventure charcuterie board which features five specialty cheeses, four premium meats, fresh seasonal fruits, gourmet olives, cornichons and mixed nuts.
“We want this not to be just a place where people come in before date night and have a glass of wine, then go somewhere else,” Erin said. “We want people to come in here and eat dinner.”
The weekly wine flights at Vine are designed to give people an opportunity to try various wines from all over the world without having to commit to a full glass or the entire bottle.
Need a place to relax after work and enjoy an affordable glass of wine or craft beer? Come to The Vine Wine Bar for Happy Hour every weekday from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.!
Happy Hour consists of the “3-2-1 Special,” which stands for $3 off flights, $2 off glasses of wine and $1 off beer.
They have over 180 different bottles of wine and more than 20 bottles of local and boutique craft beers. Drink it at the restaurant or buy it to take home.
David said The Vine Wine Bar is finalizing a brunch menu. Although the restaurant is normally closed on Sundays, one Sunday a month it will be open serving mimosas, beers and delicious brunch cuisine like crepes.
Relaxing acoustic live music is played twice a month to add to the peaceful ambiance of The Vine. They also host wine tasting events where anyone can try out various new wines.
