The Beacon kicks off summer with Hawaiian luau
Summer is here and The Beacon assisted living community is ready to celebrate.
They will be hosting a Hawaiian Luau Party Tuesday, June 29 at 2 p.m., where there will be Hawaiian dancers, leis giveaways, music and snacks. Family and friends are welcome to join in on the fun.

“People want to get back to socializing with their peers, and we offer them this opportunity on a daily basis here at The Beacon,” said Director of Sales Becky McCaa.
The luau is just one of the many events that keep these residents smiling. Other events on the calendar include movie afternoons, chair volleyball, trivia, balloon tennis, beachside drive and doughnuts, pineapple painting and live music.
Located right off U.S. Highway 98, The Beacon assisted living community has capacity for 120 residents, and nurses are on staff to provide the best possible care 24 hours a day.
The Beacon offers spacious studio and one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, private baths and courtyard views. Personalized security response systems are available to residents, as are physical therapy and exercise programs.
Other amenities include card rooms, a movie theater, a putting green and a salon and spa.
The Beacon also offers restaurant-style dining, and a wellness team is available, where staff members work with residents, the family and medical professionals to develop customized-care programs. Concierge service is available as well for scheduling medical appointments, activities, family visits and for accommodating other needs of the residents.
The Beacon wants to show their residents honor, respect and dignity.
The Beacon also has a 100% money back guarantee within 30 days of move in if your loved one decides that the community is not the right fit.
The staff at The Beacon is committed to providing peace of mind to families, knowing their loved ones will be taken care of and the staff will honor them as if they were their own family members. They put their residents’ health and safety first.
The Beacon is now accepting tours and is open to visitors, even if the visitor doesn’t know a resident personally because the community loves making new friends.
Anyone that goes on a tour will receive a free pedometer as part of their healthy living initiative.
