Twenty years is a long time, especially for a small business to survive and thrive. Pet Nation in Navarre has been open for as long as Publix has in the central hub of Navarre. Holly Elassaad, one of the owners, said it has always been her dream to open a pet store.
Every other Saturday, the lawn of Pet Nation in Navarre is transformed into an animal rescue adoption center with dogs and cats looking for new homes.
