Join the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center to help keep Navarre Beach clean and sea turtle friendly. Volunteers will meet at the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier in the parking lot at 8 a.m. Bring work gloves, sun protection and water. For more information, visit

NYE Dance

The Holley Navarre Senior Center is hosting a New Year Eve Dance from 8 p.m. to midnight. Music will be provided by the Joe Occhipinti Band. Nonalcoholic refreshments will be served. Community Appreciation Cookout

Okaloosa County Habitat for Humanity hosts a community appreciation cookout at the Liza Jackson Park located next to Red Lobster in Fort Walton Beach from 2 to 6 p.m.  There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers, live band, kids’ activities, silent auction and raffle items.
