The Subway All-Star Basketball games are on hold again.
Scheduled for July 24 at Tate, a decision has been made to not play them at this time.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, medical personnel have recommended the games not be played at Tate. The Escambia County School District intends to follow that advice. Tate is part of the school district.
The Pensacola Sports Association, which puts on the event, is seeking an alternative venue but has come up empty thus far, according to event coordinator Andrew LeBlanc.
Originally scheduled for March, the event features athletes from Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties.
