The Florida Department of Transportation reports that nighttime paving operations will resume Sunday, July 20 at 7 p.m. between Live Oak Village Shopping Center and Nantahala Beach Road.
The work will require alternating lane closures east and westbound between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. through Thursday, July 24. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction and access to private property will be maintained at all times.
Motorists are also reminded that the westbound left turn lane at Hoffman Drive and eastbound left turn lane at the Gulf Breeze Shopping Plaza on Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., July 21 – July 25 as crews complete drainage work in the median.
Motorists are urged to use caution, especially at night, and watch for heavy equipment and workers entering and exiting the work zone.
