Former Navarre wide receiver Benito Jordan Williams is headed to Alabama A&M to play football.
Williams made the announcement on Twitter Thursday.
Last season was the first of his high school career in which he played football and he instantly made an impact, playing a pivotal role in the Raiders’ offense.
Williams finished his senior season with 42 catches for 582 yards and six touchdowns. His effort helped Navarre go 12-2 and reach the state semifinals for the second time in program history. He will be joining an A&M team that went 4-7 overall and 4-5 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference last season.
