For the second time in three years, the Navarre High School girls weightlifting team is a state champion. Two years ago, when the Raiders won their first state title, it was by a one-point margin.
This year, the Raiders left nothing to chance, scoring 39 points, 16 points more than state runner-up Port Charlotte, which tallied 23 points. Charlotte was third with 20 points.
