At the super qualifier meet held at Fort Walton Beach, only the first place lifter in a weight division earns a ticket to the state championships. The second, third and fourth place finishers are placed into a state lottery system and are chosen after all of the super qualifier events have been completed.

Brock Barberi placed fourth in the 154-pound weight division. He bench pressed 240 pounds and had a 235-pound clean-and-jerk, for a 475-pound combined lift. He barely missed on his attempted with 245 pounds. He had the bar held high over his head, but could not get his feet set to complete the effort.

Colton Mapoles finished third in the 219-pound weight division. Mapoles had a 310-pound bench press and a 285-pound clean-and-jerk, giving him a 595-pound total lift.

Monty Thompson finished in third place in the 238-pound weight class. He bench pressed 320 pounds and had a 285-pound clean-and-jerk.
