Navarre’s girls soccer team will be led by six seniors this year. They have been playing together for so long, they can finish each other’s sentences. Most have been playing together since they were 6 years old, and they play for the Gulf Coast Texans in the offseason.
The Slaybaugh twins, Jade and Autumn, are back for their senior season. It is the end of an era as they are the last two members of a family of five sisters to play for the Raiders. Samantha, Meagan and Riley also played four varsity seasons at Navarre and helped put Navarre soccer on the map.
Jade and Autumn joined the team four years ago as one of three sets of twins. They are now the last set playing for the Raiders.
Jade, a captain for her three varsity seasons, is the team’s quarterback on defense. She has deceptive speed and is physical. She has a 4.5 GPA and is currently being scouted by Saint Leo University. She would like to major as a physician’s assistant.
