Natasha Elliott hurries into the gym last Wednesday night to make sure she doesn’t miss getting her picture taken on photo day for Navarre’s basketball team.
Elliott was at a girls weightlifting meet earlier in the day. Her mom had to pick her up to ensure Elliott made it to the gym in time. In fact, Elliott didn’t have time to finish her lifts at the meet in Baker.

Seven seniors are on the roster. Elliott is one of them. She’s the leading returning scorer and one of the top rebounders for the Raiders.
“We have more experience and way more potential than in past years,” Elliott said. “A lot more athleticism and talent. That should pay off.”
Madison Schluter is a senior as well and she backs up Elliott’s statement 100%.
