Merete Conley won first place in the 500-yard freestyle in a meet against Washington last Tuesday at the YMCA in Navarre.
She clocked in with a time of 6:27.81 and is the lone Navarre swimmer to finish first in an individual event. The 400 relay team also earned a first-place finish, clocking in with a time of 4:17.91.
Lauren Robbins and Olivia Sczesny each placed second in an event for the girls.
Robbins was the runner-up in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:21.69 and Sczesny finished second in the 50 with a time of 26.38. She was also second in the 100, finishing the race in a time of 1:00.87. Robbins was third in the 100 (1:06.28) and Courtney Rodrigues placed fourth (1:07.30).
For the boys, the 400 relay team took first with a time of 3:52.66.
Jake Losquadro and Harrison Dorsey each earned a second-place finish. Losquadro was the runner-up in the 200 freestyle (2:20.31) and Dorsey finished second in the 200 IM (2:12.53).
