Jennifer Seward was at her best Monday night in a District 1-4A quarterfinal against Escambia, recording a hat trick to help Navarre roll to an 8-0 victory at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.
Seward scored all three of her goals in the first 21 minutes of the game, including two in a three-minute span, as the Raiders moved on to the semifinal round of the tourney. Navarre moves on to play Tate on the road tonight. Game time is 7 p.m.
Seward also dished out an assist while Anakah Madril and and Sierra Fernandez nearly came through with hat tricks as well, with both players scoring two goals apiece. Autumn Slaybaugh scored the other goal.
Fernandez came through with one assist and Lizzy Madril, Jocelyn Fernandez and Jade Slaybaugh also dished out assists as well.
The Raiders improved to 21-1-1 on the year as they continue their quest to reach the state final four for the second time in three seasons.
