Navarre is seventh in the first Region 1 playoff poll of the 2019 football season.
The top eight are in position to make the postseason and the Raiders check in with a .558 RPI. However, a district champ could be outside the top eight and end up bumping off another team in the top eight.
The Raiders are seeking their eighth consecutive playoff berth.
Though the seventh seed typically plays the second, because Lake Howell, currently outside the top eight, is poised to win its district, every team would move down one spot.
That would leave Navarre at No. 8 if the playoffs started today.
That, of course, would mean a trip to Orlando to take on Edgewater in the opening round. Edgewater is ranked first with an RPI of .724.
The Raiders are 4-3 overall after a 10-0 win over Tate Friday night and take on Chiles this Friday in their homecoming game at Bennett C. Russell Stadium. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
The win on Friday snapped a three-game losing streak and gave Navarre its first District 1-7A victory of the year. The Timberwolves are 10th with an RPI of .531.
