Raiders post two wins in preseason soccer action

“I am really excited about this year,” Coach Rob Simon said. “We have a lot of potential, but we should not get big heads. We played well during most of the two games, but there are a lot of little things that we need to work on.”

“It was the first varsity experience for some of the girls,” Simon said. “I wanted them to get a feel of working together.”

The Raiders won their first district and regional championship last year on their way to the final four. They graduated only two players from that squad. Unfortunately, midfielder Cat Baccarini was lost for the season with an injury over the summer.

Raiders 3, Arnold 0
