Cameron Terrian threw six scoreless innings and the offense cranked out 10 hits as Navarre rolled past West Florida 9-0 in its season opener Tuesday night in Pensacola.
Ryan Cocker drove in a run in the first to give Navarre a 1-0 lead and Terrian’s run-scoring hit moments later pushed Navarre in front 2-0. The Raiders never looked back.
“Overall we hit it pretty well, we pitched it pretty well, and for the most part, we played pretty good defense,” Navarre head coach Jon Boddy said. “We’ll be in good shape if we keep doing that.”
