The baseball game went 18 innings, lasted more than four hours, and didn’t end until almost midnight.
More than 450 pitches were thrown in the game and Matt Cronin and Jared Gonzalez each pitched the equivalent of a major league complete baseball game.
The two Raiders and four Bulldog pitchers did not allow a single run to cross the plate until the bottom of the 18th inning. With two outs Crestview’s Colter Hancock singled to left driving in Matt Gillis for the lone run in the marathon and give Crestview the 1-0 win.
