Navarre is ranked fourth in the first Florida High School Athletic Association regional power rankings of the season and would be in the postseason if it began today.
St. Augustine, Crestview and Niceville are the top three teams in the poll, which will be released each Tuesday from now until the end of the season.
A total of eight teams from each region will earn a playoff berth under the new playoff format.
The remaining four spots in each of the four regions will be determined by playoff points. Navarre currently has 37.80 points.
Pine Forest, Tate, Fort Walton Beach and Escambia are also currently in the top eight. The Raiders played Pine Forest earlier this season and won 27-14. They play Escambia (2-2) this week in their Homecoming game at Bennett C. Russell Stadium and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Navarre, a winner of 26 of its last 27 regular season games, has made five consecutive trips to the playoffs and advanced to the state semifinals last season. The Raiders are aiming for the first state title in program history this year.
