Navarre’s boys track team placed second at the Panhandle Relays Saturday in Pensacola. The girls finished fourth.
It’s the second consecutive week in which the teams have placed in the top four at an invitational.
Several individuals finished in the top five.
Kevon Washington took second in the 300 hurdles (42.72), Nolan Garrett was third in the discus (124-feet-2 1/2-inches) Grady Kelly finished fourth in the shot put (40-10 1/2) and Nathan Crews took fifth in the triple jump (38-2 1/4).
Khiara Newton finished second in the pole vault with a height of 9-6 1/4 and was fourth in the high jump (4-10).
Jasmine Hellyer and Jessika Seward were third (33-2) and fourth (32-3 1/2), respectively, in the triple jump and Hailey Neely placed fourth in the 300 hurdles (50.59). Hellyer was fifth in the 110 hurdles (18.20). Amaya Craig was fifth in the discus (87-2).
