For the first time in school history, the Navarre boys soccer team will enter the district tournament as the number one seed. Their 5-2 victory over Crestview Monday night guaranteed them the best regular season record of the eight teams in their district.
Five minutes into the game, Kameron Bethell maneuvered the ball through the middle of the field. A perfect pass split two Bulldog defenders and a streaking Malcolm Valdes-Fernandez collected the offering. The Crestview keeper had no chance to defend the shot and Navarre had an early 1-0 lead.
