Navarre advances to district soccer final

Navarre’s girls soccer team is moving on to the District 1-4A championship game.

The Raiders advanced with a 4-1 win over Milton Tuesday night at Bennett C. Russell Stadium.

Jennifer Seward and Hunter Wallace scored two goals apiece. Seward and Wallace also each tallied an assist.

Skylar Woods and Hailey Bastian also dished out assists as the Raiders improved to 14-2-4 on the season.

Jessika Seward made three saves.

Navarre takes on Niceville for the district championship at 6 p.m. Thursday in Navarre. The Eagles advanced with a 6-1 win over Tate Tuesday.

The Raiders and Eagles tied 1-1 in a game earlier this season. Both teams are assured of a spot in the regional tourney regardless of Thursday’s outcome.
