Monday Night Football anyone?
It’s on the way.
The Navarre Raiders and Leon Lions are set to square off Monday night at 6 p.m. EST at Gene Cox Stadium in Tallahassee.
The threat of the tropical storm moving into the area this weekend forced the change. The game was originally scheduled for Friday. The Santa Rosa County School District announced earlier this afternoon that all after-school activities for Friday have been canceled.
Navarre is 4-4 overall and 1-4 in District 1-7A. Leon is 3-4 and 1-3 in the district.
Navarre will now play two games in five-day span.
The Raiders play their regular-season finale next Friday against Crestview at Bennett C. Russell Stadium. Crestview is taking on Lincoln Monday at home.
Navarre will go into its game looking to get back on track after a 49-31 loss to Chiles last Friday.
