Jordan Leggett missed his second consecutive game for the New York Jets Sunday because of a knee injury. The Jets lost 45-20 to Oakland and fell to 0-2 on the season.
But Leggett has told the media last week he expects to play in this Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium.
He believes he and the other tight ends on the team can be dominant and help New York turn things around after a tough start to the season.
Leggett is in his first year in the NFL after helping Clemson win the national championship in January. The two-time Mackey Award finalist was taken in the fifth round by the Jets and is the first player in the NFL from Navarre.
