Home runs lift Lady Raiders to victories

It was the fifth home run of the year for Bobbitt. Smith’s home run was a shot. “The ball went over the fence and into the woods,” Allison Pettigrew said. “It was the longest we have seen so far this season.”

The Lady Raiders won a close softball game 6 – 5 at home against Fort Walton Beach March 7. The Lady Raiders scored first in the bottom of the second inning. Taylor was hit by a pitch, moved to third on Jones’ single and scored on a single by Smith.
