The Lady Raiders ended their regular season with two more home wins. They shut out Catholic 8-0 on Jan. 6 and beat Choctaw the next night by a 9-1 score.
The night started by honoring three seniors for their contributions to the soccer program. Manager Emily Clunk, defender Jessica Cook and midfielder Riley Slaybaugh were recognized before the game.
Clunk played three years on the JV team and after several injuries, decided to manage the team her senior year.
Cook has played 50 games over three years on the varsity squad. Fittingly, she scored her first career goal on senior night. This year Cook is part of a defense that has allowed only 10 goals for the season.
