Jordan Jefferson found himself in elite company this past weekend.
Navarre’s standout senior defensive lineman played in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Game in The Villages Saturday afternoon.
He played on a defense that forced six turnovers and helped the North top the South 27-16.
The North won for the first time since 2014.
“I had a lot of fun and it meant a lot to be a part of it,” Jefferson said. “It’s something you dream about. My hard work paid off.”
The game was a four-quarter highlight reel.
“It was amazing. The game was full of a bunch of highlights,” Jefferson said.
A game pitting the best of the best in the state against each other, the star defensive player enjoyed showcasing his skills on a big stage.
“We all have talent in our own special way,” Jefferson said. “The week we were together. It was amazing. We came together as a team and it showed in the score.”
