Hall making immediate impact for Raiders

Trent Hall is off to a pretty good start to his varsity football career at Navarre.
A week ago, the sophomore recovered a fumble and picked off a pass that sealed the deal on a 28-21 season-opening win over Gulf Breeze.
On Friday night, Hall showed he can get the job done on the offensive end of the field as well. He snagged a 30-yard touchdown catch from Marlon Courtney in the second quarter.
Hall made a move to get open and then dove into the end zone. The score put the punctuation mark on a 49-second drive that closed out the first half with Navarre up 27-0.
“It felt great to be out here on a Friday night and finally score. It’s a really good feeling,” Hall said.
Hall made it clear as a freshman he had the potential to make an immediate impact at the varsity level and he hasn’t disappointed.
He’s the latest sophomore in the history of this program to rise to the occasion.
“We were excited about him as a freshman. He made really big plays, and when we got him in the spring, he made plays then,” Navarre head coach Jay Walls said.
