Navarre’s boys weightlifting team will have four athletes competing in the 2A state meet April 17 at the Kissimmee Civic Center. The meet begins at 10 a.m.
T.J. Woodberry will compete in the 129-pound division and owns the top lift total in his weight class at 505 pounds. The 505 pound total is a district record.
Woodberry will be making his second appearance in the state meet in his high school career.
Xavier Fernandez (183), Kyle Arrasmith (238) and Brent Short (heavyweight) have also earned bids to the state meet.
