Navarre softball standouts Emma Thomas, Nathalie Holbrook, Britney Silver and Morgan Marquis competed for the East in the Subway All-Star Game Thursday night at the University of West Florida Softball Complex in Pensacola.
For the first time in their career, the final score did not matter. It was an honor just to be chosen for the team.
For the four Raiders, the game marked the last time the teammates would play together.
The game gave them a chance to suit up with players who had been rivals for most of their softball careers.
The West prevailed in the end, winning 10-5. Early in the game Thomas was recognized for her academic success and presented with a gift from Subway, the game’s sponsor.
