Two goals are listed on a sign in Navarre’s football field house. The first is “To be the best ever at NHS.” The second reads “Do the things you have never done to get us where we have never been.”
Below the list is a picture of a state championship ring, which is the Raiders’ ultimate goal.
“We had a good year last year, but we had a few bad games,” defensive lineman Anthony Miller said. “We want to be even better this year. We are focused on one goal, and that is to win a state championship.”
The Raiders were 9-3 a year ago, advancing to the second round of the playoffs. They are setting the stage for success in 2015 as they push through 20 days of spring football practice.
