This season of the Pigskin Pickin’ and Prognosticatin’ contest saw one of the closest competitions in the history of the league. The difference between the first place winner, Mike Loera and fifth place winner, Jayer Williamson, was only 12 games.
Defending champion Loera finished this season 192-53 and picked 21-14 of the bowl games. Loera’s victory came down to his regular season picks since runner-up Glenn Lattanze was able to match Loera’s bowl pick record of 21-14.
