Despite challenges, Raiders trusting the process

Trusting the process can be a difficult thing to do. Tough moments put a strain on that trust, the adversity doing all it can to throw punches that athletes won’t recover from.

It hasn’t always been easy this season for Navarre’s girls basketball team. The Raiders let a couple of wins slip from their grasp, losing twice by six points, and on another occasion they lost by 70.

In the final two minutes, though, the game was as close as it could be, the Raiders fighting like mad to stay ahead. They took their final lead on a layup by Arleigh East, going in front 50-49. Killian Casey finished things off with a free throw and layup in the final minute.
