While the Dominican Republic native’s thoughts can only be shared through the help of someone who can break the language barrier, no one needs interpretation for the 13 strikeouts the Pensacola pitcher recorded in a 5-0 victory over the M-Braves.
That number is pretty good in any language.
“He was outstanding,” Pensacola manager Pat Kelly said. “The key was his slider. He makes his pitches look so effortless.”
Castillo credits the success to his focus.
