Chandler Bridges always dreamed of playing college softball, and over the last four years, she was given an opportunity to fulfill that dream.
Bridges played two seasons at the College of Central Florida and spent the last two at NCAA Division II Chowan University in North Carolina.
“Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing,” Bridges said. “I’m grateful for the experience and truly blessed I had an opportunity not many people get.”
Her senior season with the Hawks was the best of her career and nearly resulted in a trip to the NCAA tournament.
Chowan reached the championship round of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association tourney where it lost 8-2 to St. Augustine’s after forcing an if-necessary game against the Falcons with a 3-2 win earlier in the day.
